In 2006, Brett Daniel and I began doctorate degrees in computer science at the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign. Shortly there after, we (both played guitar and wrote music) started jamming together – occasionally being joined by a friend or two. A year later, in 2007, Aaron Weiner began his doctorate program in counseling psychology at UIUC. Aaron and I became fast friends. Aaron (who sang in an all male a cappella group) joined up with Brett and myself. Together, we began arranging, writing, and recording music in my apartment. Over the next 5 years, Aaron, Brett and I put together 17 tracks which became our debut CD, Musings & Outbursts.
