Description:
We are surrounded by digital interfaces that frustrate and confuse in the devices we use from day-to-day. Understanding the true nature of why those frustrations exist, as well as presenting the arguments for change, are the focus of Project 2.

You will choose a single interface for a device in your environment, which you believe can be improved. This project will result in the following deliverables:

• Artifact Series 1: Audit of existing interface and current user interaction / workflow
  • interview at least 3 other users of the device for their opinions about how easy or difficult it is to interact with the object.
  • Diagram “trouble spots” with existing interface / interaction
  • Flowchart the current user interaction through the interface (all screens / functions)
  • Flowchart the current user workflow through the interaction
• Artifact Series 2: UI wireframes
  • Diagram improved UI Wireframes for 3-5 screens
  • Diagram improved user workflow through the interaction
  • Diagram improved user interaction through the interface
• Artifact Series 3: Bitmap Explorations
  • Prototype 3-5 options for alternate visual interfaces
• Final Presentation
