Illini Hillel approached me to do a rebranding of their organization. As an student focused organization on a major university campus, they have a lot of different programs, that each have a very different focus. Some programs are for fun, some are religious, etc. Very often, students come to Hillel for one aspect of it’s programming, while not wanting to participate in others.

To reflect this varied organization, I created a logo, and then variants on it, to reflect each aspect of the Hillel organization. Each sub Hillel is represented by a different color. Staff business cards, posters, and other material will therefore be color coded based on the aspect of Hillel that they work on.  In addition to the color-coded logos, I also did some small variants that are more “thematic,” such as a logo with the Israeli flag.

To help staff in the re-branding process, I also created a design guide to help them choose colors, layouts, make posters, etc.
